Raeesa Rawal is an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP (London), specialising in construction arbitration.  Raeesa has a wide range of experience advising clients in the energy, infrastructure and construction sectors, from the provision of initial advice on claims under contract and throughout the dispute resolution process.

Raeesa has heavy involvement in both construction law academia and industry bodies in various jurisdictions.  She has an ongoing speaking engagement with the University of Stuttgart as part of their International Construction Practice and Law Masters Degree, and has been awarded numerous awards and honours in the construction law field, including the Society of Construction Law Australia 2017 Brooking Prize for her co-authored entry on enforceability of time bars in construction contracts.  Raeesa also has publications in the International Construction Law Review and the Construction Law International, and assists the editors of the Building and Construction Law Journal.
